Child & Youth Therapy Sessions

Grow in capacity. Build resilience and self-esteem.

For children and teens facing big feelings, school stress, or family changes.

60 Minutes $125 Per Session

Why choose Child and Youth therapy?

Because big feelings need age appropriate tools. Our sessions blend evidence‑based methods with gamified activities that keep children and teens engaged. Parents stay in the loop through brief check‑ins, so progress at home matches wins in session.

What happens in a session?

Each session opens with an ice breaker so your child feels at ease before diving into anything hard. We explore big feelings using concrete examples and metaphors, helping your child to name their feelings before they overwhelm them. From there we introduce a Skill of the Day: maybe a bubble‑breathing exercise for calmer bodies, a “stop‑and‑swap” thought reframe for anxious minds, or a role‑played social story to practice tricky conversations. We invite parents in for a brief recap as necessary, sharing trends, celebrating wins, and mapping our next steps together.

Common Concerns We Explore

Challenge

How therapy helps

Anxiety and School Stress

Grounding games and step-by-step plans.

ADHD/focus issues

Building habits and working through behaviours, body breaks, and building self-awareness capacity.

Emotional Dysregulation

Identify triggers, practice to name feelings, and working with them.

Social Skills and Bullying

Role-play, perspective-taking, confidence boosters.

Family / Divorce Transitions

Safe space to express these big feelings and working through the difficulty of life transitions.

Low Self-Esteem

Strength-spotting and working with relearning the capacity to love oneself.

Social Media or Screen Time overuse

We help kids untangle the dopamine loop of likes and scrolls, set healthy limits, and find offline activities without daily shouting matches.

Identity, Culture and Transitioning

Therapy gives kids and teens a judgment‑free space to sort out “Who am I?” questions, whether that’s cultural identity, gender exploration, or adjusting to a new school or country.

Not sure it will help
your child or teen?

My child barely talks to us, will they open up on video?

We start with games, drawing, or online activities that feel like play, not interrogation. Most kids relax and chat within the first session.

Not at all. We help with everyday worries, school stress, friendships, big feelings, as well as diagnosed challenges.

Dependent on age and agreement, you may get brief updates and take‑home tips after every few sessions, so you know what is working and can reinforce skills at home.

It all depends on the type of issues we are working on together yet changes are possible with every conversation.
